Yep, got my ticket for their Sydney show.

On their last tour here in 2005 I was jumping around in the mosh, this time I've opted for seats instead.  Should be a pretty cool gig. ok

It's all down to personal taste, but I thought the The Screaming Jets were great. They are legends or Aussie rock, the same as Slash, Duff, Matt are legends of US rock.
Better is one of their most overplayed songs and definitely not their best, so if you thought that was their only good song, I guess they're not for you.

I'm there, Sydney this time round as the Melbourne date clashes with Elton John (yeah I know but the missus wants to go!) but that just means I get to see 2 shows!

Elton John. Man, that must be costing you a fortune. The tix for the hunter valley shows were something like $400 and up.
I wanted to go but I spent $6000 on Guns N' Roses this year and I think Im gunna follow Metallica around when they come so I gotta start saving.

There has not been much about the tour in the Australian press that I see.

This is an older article but has VR ever played Paradise City?  Do they plan to in Australia? Huh

Yeah it is when you add up airfares and all the other shows I'm going to aswell.
I did 4 of the GN'R shows earlier in the year and so far have tickets, airfares and accomodation booked for:
Velvet Revolver - Sydney both nights
Elton John - Tassie
Bon Jovi - Melbourne
Iron Maiden - Melbourne
Ozzy Osbourne - Melbourne
Kiss - Melbourne

Well worth every cent I say, I told the missus I'm going to see the gunners next show at Madison Square Gardens and she said ok!!!! couldn't believe it so I can't wait till the US tour comes about!
