I just read in Rolling Stone that he and the drummer have already left Sattelite Party-the CD just came out 2 months ago. Nuno even co-produced the album-he said he was proud of the music, not happy with the way the live show was happening. Does anyone know if Perry is hard to get along with? He sure has had a lot of different projects. I like the album a lot, by the way.

I remember in the VH1 special Bands reunited Gary Cherone said of Nuno "don't piss him off". I wonder if he wasn't happy about doing Jane's Addiction covers live.

I'm going to see Satellite Party tonight in Minneapolis, mainly to see Nick Perri from Silvertide.  It's a super tiny club, so maybe I can get some info.  It does seem like Perry has a new project every other month.

For what's it's worth, they played House of Blues here in Cleveland and the turnout was really low-I could not go because of work-let us know how the concert is-really like the album a lot

The concert was about 3/4 full, probably 250 people there in the ultra-small club.  A band called Mink opened for them, from Australia and sounded decent, maybe a little too much like the Killers though.  SP played for only about an hour, maybe an hour fifteen.  They opened with Wish upon a Dog Star and played about half the album.  Definitely the standout live song on that album is Hard Life Easy.  Also there were about four Jane's songs:  Just Because, Been Caught Stealing, and their only encore song was Jane Says which was incredible.   Nick Perri really tore up the show the entire night, he's just an amazing guitarist.  Perry Farrell was in a great mood the entire night and passed around a bottle of wine throughout the show.  I was suprised at what a great performer he was and a pleasant personality, he looked like he was having fun the whole time.  His wife who dances and sings backup vocals is insanely hot!  Probably worth the price of the ticket just to see her.  I talked to Nick after the show but will put that in the Silvertide thread.

I think they sound much better live than on the cd.  The cd sounds a little too processed for my taste, but I still think it rocks.  Live the band really rocks out though.
