The Answer
Satellite Party
The Glitterati
Bullets and Octane
Roadstar
Tokyo Dragons
Turbonegro
Biffy Clyro

These are well worth a look at, even if some aren't strictly new.

I'd agree with all of them too.  I was always anti Biffy Clyro, but I actually respect them for finally caving in and delivering a commercial sounding album.  They now sound like veterand (which in the grand scheme of things they probably are considering the shelf life of most new bands).

I truly hope that The Glitterati get some success from their second album.  I hear they are going to focus it on the US rather than the UK.

Kid Ego kick ass...I didn't know they had a new singer, though.  I always wondered about their singer being a tad chunky.  Clearly he was eating too well to REALLY be a rock singer, poor as shit and trying to make it.

Bullets and Octane just released a new album "Song for the Underdog" on iTunes.  It's pretty good.  Fun rock n' roll, and a good summer album.

Very fuckin' cool Southern rock band.? Great guitar sound and many thick basslines:

Kings of Leon

New Zeppelin-ish band:

Rose Hill Drive

*************************************************

Hendrix style guitar 2-piece band (no bass).? These guys get compared to White Stripes but I don't see it.? Other than the sound being bass-free:

The Black Keys

Dude Rose Hill Drive are fucking sweet, thanks for posting about them. Black keys are also a really good band, I just found out about them earlier this year and I like them a lot.
