Slash just tends to use that alot as a base for riffing.

Cant get it out my head - 1:40

November Rain - 3:39

So does every guitarist. There are many common classic licks that all players use and use again. It would be virtually impossible to not repeat a series of 4 or 5 notes in different songs, especially when youve recorded as many things as slash has.

But ive never once thought Gravedancer sounded like FTP.

I know that I am a guitarist , but its just like certain licks are just too memorable to repeat to me i was like ehhh too NR , but I think Gravedancer is the best track on the album beautiful mesh of classic and modern slash solo with the wah !

Uh no. Good song. Fall to Pieces is better. Better riff (even though its almost the same one on gravedancer) and much better slash solo

I'd like to hear an acoustic version of Gravedancer.

Kinda like the acoustic Fall To Pieces.

Only the intro. You'd think that if we can spot the similarity after a single listen, the musicians would be able to after hundreds of listens in the studio, but no....

I was on writing on MSM and listening to it and commented on that fact as well, the person i was talking to also agreed

That is just some piece of spectacular info there.  Thanks for sharing.

I also remember comparing the album to some of the Audioslave songs as that what Scotts voice reminded me of

Now you've done lost your mind.  Take the cotton out of your ears.

Libertad rocks.  Sucks for anybody who disagrees.  I'm one who's supremely satisfied.

hihi  Word!  You must have been high though when you felt that the utterly flat sound of Audioslave compared to that of VR in any way, shape, or form.  That just might discredit ALL of your opinions.
