Adding to the fact that if you're band's official website is advertising tour dates.. surely you want people to be able to find tickets easily?
I mean, it's pretty common for bands to link to their tickets.  It's kind of the product they're selling.

A lot of empty promises going on...thats just part of being a fan.  I remember back in 2001 at Rock in Rio, Axl promised to be back next summer with a BUNCH of new songs...didn't happen.  Anything thats said by Axl/GN'R, I would say its a 35% chance of actually happening.
