That site is as unreliable as blabbermouth and antimusic. They got NO SOURCES and probably one of their so called reporters saw the discussion at mygnr or here and assumed the shows were cancelled. Until esmas.com (the only big and reliable news site, and also the official site of the company that owns OCESA, the promoters of the show) reports it, its not official
I repeat, not official (YET)

, 01 800 BOLETOS (calling from Mexico), they toll me concert is not cancelled and ticket are still on sale. They also mention that cancelled dates are only for Japan and SA,... I guess this give a little hope.. but to be honest, very very little..

Hopefully the next "official" update contains the phrase "the album will be released on...."

gees they aren't accurate. only the sa dates were canceled as those were festivals and japan concerts are being rescheduled.

Well I really hope that is the case.
Still it is ashame there is no safety mechanism to update the site or get these things taken care of when they arise.

That would be the greatest escape to this situation. A release date at this point could be providential.
I hope you're right man, I really hope

This tour delay might be a good thing, finish the fucking album already. Save the "greatest hits" tour blended with 5 new tracks for 1-2 months before the release. That side of the world plus Mexico does deserve to get to see what a lot of us seen over here in the U.S last year .. so about 1-2 months before release make up all these cancelled tour dates, then upon the release start an actual real "Chinese Democracy" tour.

I?m Spanish and this article is just another sourceless piece of bullshit. It basicaly bashes Axl ( surprise !!) and says the Mexico gigs have been cancelled but it gives any proof nor source to back the info. I bet it?s just false.

I don't think they can say this will be cancelled because of Tommys injury because the show is more then a month away. Right now ... who knows? But until its official I wouldn't worry too much.
