So there has been a few problems....

I blame Buckethead smoking

I could SWEAR that's Tawnee Stone in your avatar? rofl

...in 1997 he drove his car over a disc a Geffen exec gave him to listen to new producers. That sounds like something Axl would do.

I still say this is in the top 5 coolest things a rock star has ever done? hihi

The lady in my avatar is my fiance' or fiancee' or however the hell you spell it..who's tawnee stone?? Axl told me to live my life and as a zombie with no emotional feelings towards GnR or the ridiculous timeline, I'm just doing the best I can.....
Blaming anybody besides Axl is kinda funny...The record is as close now to being done as it ever has... but I'm not holding my breath

why "blame" anybody??? nobody has done anything wrong to you............Lack of this album has not disabled you, or damaged you in any way.......other than some things don't correspond to your own little time line, and won't.

Didn't Buckethead leave after Axl failed to show up for a gig  peace
I think Buckethead was very much up for Gn'R 'the music' but not Gn'R 'Axl on an ego trip'. So he called it quits.

it was a joke.....

really I blame Robin, he left there for a little while in 99' and I think that set the course for the next 8 YEARS OF DELAYS..

wait... warchild prescribed me some Xanax for my "blaming" fits of rage...take 10 now and the timeline makes perfect sense

I can't imagine why all the press wants to do is just retread the same old facts (or a close facimile of them). Why not just wait. I mean, if they hate this guy and his band so much, why report on them so much even if it's the same ol same ol?

I still stand by my original theory that Axl is preventing CD from leaking by personally burning every copy himself at home on his computer.

Pressing millions of cd's by yourself takes a really really long time.  hihi

Here's the quote from the Portland incident. Axl took responsibility for not jeopardizing the safety of the fans, the crews, the bands and himself. The blame rests squarely on the "draconian authorities." (Fire Marshals.)

I agree with, and ultimately take responsibility for, the end decision not to jeopardize the safety of the fans, the crews, the bands and myself as a result of the methods of these particularly draconian authorities.

September 1991

1994-1995
Izzy Stradlin briefly replaced by Zakk Wylde, who?s subsequently briefly replaced by Izzy Stradlin, who?s subsequently quits again.

Is this true? I knew about Izzy making a brief appearance to replace Gilby during the UYI tour, but is this bit here correct? Anyone know of any sources or interviews which indicates Izzy returning after Zakk Wylde in 1994-1995, before leaving again?

The arguably sarcastically titled Live Era 87-93 is also released
Why would this be considered sarcastic? Surely Axl is just confirming that GnR are still around, that this is from a different era, or am I missing something.

March 2006
Axl responds to Slash and Duff?s lawsuit by filing a counter-suit, and issuing a statement calling Slash an ?opportunist and manipulator?. Axl claims that Slash showed up at his home in October 2005, making disobliging remarks about the guitarist?s bandmates in Velvet Revolver. Velvet Revolver frontman Scott Weiland retaliates with a website posting calling Axl a ?fat, Botox-faced, wig-wearin? fuck?, and ?a frightened little man?. So there.

rofl @ "so there." A diss to Scott Weiland. It's interesting in the actual magazine "Uncut" it says "Slash claims that Axl showed up at his home in October 2005, making disobliging remarks about the Guitarist's bandmates in Velvet Revolver." It would kinda make more sense if it happened that way. Luckily they got in right on GnR Daily, where they presumably fixed that mistake.
