Scott's talking football again:

Launch Radio Networks reports: VELVET REVOLVER frontman Scott Weiland is passionate about two things: rock music and football. With the college season and NFL regular season completed, and rumors already flying about coaches being fired and hired, Weiland posted an open letter online this week imploring Notre Dame head coach Charlie Weis not to take a job coaching the New York Giants if it was offered to him. While the job didn't materialize, Weiland told Launch that he's still worried about the state of college football. "Professional football has proven over the last 20 years that there's no more loyalty because of free agency," he said. "Once the loyalty is gone in college football, in college sports, then that's when I just stop becoming a sports fan. Once you cannot bank on loyalty and a handshake anymore in college sports, then you know what? F*** it."

I don't understand these reactions about it being "strange" & "weird"...?  People talk like this about sports on a daily basis.   Huh

I would bet Charlie Weis doesn't give a damn what Weiland has to say. Plus I bet Weis is still recovering from that beating Notre Dame received from the LSU TIGERS!!!!  Grin

Weilands dad played for ND on a football scholarship. So there is a connection. Scott also mentioned his dads helmet in his childrens bedroom before.

His dad may even be involved with the program like some alums, but im not sure since Scott lived with a step dad.
