I've had this show for quite sometime now, it is authored by '@tjuh', but I can't help thinking that the sound quality is worse than other versions out there.  Sure it has a nice DVD menu and even on the preview footage on the main menu the sound is alot better than when you come to play the actual show.  When you play the show it sounds rather drowned out and much worse than the preview footage, so I'm guessing theres versions with better sound around, just need to be pointed in the right direction.

It can depend on the audio format and bitrates that are used when producing the DVD.

I only have this version http://dvd.gnr.gr/dvd's/1992/06.06.1992%20Hippodrome%20de%20Vincennes%20-%20Paris,%20France,(Unknown).htm

It has mpeg2 audio with a bitrate of 224 kbps, and sounds pretty good in my opinion.

Of course uncompressed LPCM is always the best, but takes up a lot more room.

I personaly prefer mpeg2 audio for music DVD's as dolby digital just kills the dynamics of live music in my opinion, and you can hear the compression.
rant I don't understand why some authors use dolby digital yet only fill up about half to three quarters of a disc when on most of them they could use LPCM or Mpeg2 at worst and get much better audio results. end of rant! peace.

What audio is on the version you have?

Get a Lossless version of the audio then convert it to MP3 for your own use. It is currently available on the gunsnroses tracker http://www.tracker.gunsnroses.us/details.php?id=254

This is the best way to get the best quality for your MP3 player, plus you can set the bitrate for the MP3's depending on how big you want the file to be. ok
