Ok so now that I'm awake I'll post a review.

? ? ? With this being my first GNR concert I didn't know what the hell to expect. I had heard all of the "They always come on late" or "He'll walk of the stage",bullshit and ?needless to say none of that shit happened.
The doors finally opened at about 6:30PM which wasn't too bad since we (me, my friend and my dad) arrived there at about 4:30. Well once the doors opened all the stuff went on sale. They had your typical tour stuff from what I could see: GNR shirts (and some Bach and Suicide Girls shirts), hoodies, jackets and hockey jerseys (WTF Axl I thought 2002 was over. ?hihi) So after a brief fight (what it was about I'm not sure) in the seated area the concert started.
? ? ? Well any who the show started at exactly 8:00PM, I was impressed. ?The only problem was that the first act SUCKED ASS! Their singer didn't do jack shit on stage and not to mention the fact that their songs were incomprehensible plus I don't ?think anyone knew who the fuck they were rant (I think their name was Nova Rock or something I didn't catch it.). But I suppose it was all GNR could do with them kicking the Pigeons of Shit Metal off of the tour (part of me wonders if they could have been worse nervous).
? ? ? Well after losing about 35 minutes of my life I was a little pissed. Thankfully though the Suicide Girls took the stage. I'm going to have to agree with everyone else in saying that they are just their for comic relief. Granted though, 2 out of the 4 were hot plus I think I have a brand new interest in chocolate syrup like never before love. Well the girls finished at about 9:20 with a closing speech from this weird ass blonde saying that they had a "great fucking time" here.
? ? ? ?After that performance I almost forgot about the horrible taste the opening band left in my mouth...metaphorically speaking of course Smiley. Well afte that I'd say the crowd was getting pumped up. I think there were alot of people looking foward to seeinng Bach (myself included since it would be my first time seeing him too). Well at about 9:40PM the lights went out and the crowd started to go wild. Hell my heart was racing and then when I heard the opening notes to Slave to the Grind (their first tune) I just about died. Bach was great though, he has a great stage presence and really knows how to work a crowd even though you have drunken assholes behind you saying, "Sebastian Bach's a fucking faggot anyway.". Bach played a lot of old Skid Row tunes obviously (damn he really needs to get back in that band. They need him more he needs them, and if you've heard Skid Row's ?new album you'd agree with me ?Grin) and a few new ones from his upcoming album, which I think I may pick up while I'm waiting for Chinese Democracy. Bach ended his performance with Youth Gone Wild (which EVERYONE was singing to at one time or another) at about 10:38PM. ?After that I was pumped up as hell and couldn't wait for the Masters off the evening.

? Well after two more drunken brawls, one in the GA section (and damn it one of those fuckers was wasted. He was falling over on everything. Hell the cops who I thought were there just to drink coffee and stare at the hot girls, even came in.) And the second in the seats again. Part of me was hoping that they'd take the drunken asshole behind me away too.
? ? ? ?Well after all of that at 11:37PM I believe the lights went out and the crowd went wild. After listening to their opening tune (some movie soundtrack of some movie sort) the opening chords of WTTJ started and EVERYONE WAS STANDING! My heart was racing I was ready for a fucking show! Then Axl came on and said "Thank You. Your money will be refunded" and left. NAH I'm just fucking with ya (why am I the only one laughing... nervous. GNR CAME ON AND KICKED THE? SHIT OUT OF THE PLACE. Everyone and I mean everyone was singing along. The pyro was a nice touch too. Axl looked great too. I? don't know where all of these idiots are getting this "wider midsection" bullshit but whatever. After tearing up WTTJ the band went into Its So Easy which again the whole crowd was singing to.Mr.Brownstone stared? up after that and needless to say the fill in drummer is FUCKING GREAT despite some of the bull shit comments I heard. The band then went into Live and Let Die which I'm going to have to say was better then the studio version. Axl's singing on this tune especially was spot on. After that we get "Ladies and Gentlemen Mr. Robin Fink". HIs solo was ok but it kind of sounded like he was just making noise. But it was ok nonetheless. After that I said to my friend "Hey man watch he's gonna go into Better." my friend just looked at me and shook his head in disapproval lol. Turns out I was wrong instead they went into a true classic: Sweet Child O' MINE which was awesome. Once again almost everyone was singing along. Something funny to note is Bumblefoot's new look. While Axl was singing Sweet Child O' Mine he walked up to Bumblefoot and picked up some of his new blonde dreads and just looked at him for a few seconds. Axl had a funny "You wanna explain this shit?" look on his face. Obviously he thought it was hilarious.
? ? ? ? ? ? ?After that I heard some weird sound from Robin?s Guitar and suddenly out of nowhere Better shows up. There wasn't a lot of crowd participation on this one (since a lot of people aren't too familiar with the newer stuff) but me and my friend were singing along to it at from where we were it looked like we were the only ones that were which made me wonder "Oh shit are they gonna kick our Downloading Motherfucking asses?". Better got some really good crowd reception too which is always a plus (Axl people like the stuff release the album PLEAAAASE!).? Knockin' On Heaven's Door was next and that was a wonderful tune. As usual Axl got the whole audience to participate by telling us something like "Hey this could be the last time you get to let out like this. Korea could be planning to kill ya right now." ahh Axl you sadistic bastard. It?s too bad your probably right rofl.
? ? ? ? ? ? When KOHD was over with (which by the way his voice was spot on during) the man decided to go into a rant. He addressed people's complaints of him starting the shows late to which he said something along the lines of "This is morning for me. I'm just getting up and spending some time with my friends. I'm having a workout session with my friends.? Shedding some light on them (to which the concert lights went on for a few). I'm Captain Kangaroo and it?s a wonderful morning."? Then Robin walks out like a bad ass and starts playing something on the guitar to which I said to my friend "Dude? Down on the Farm?" once again I was wrong (They played it in Baltimore God damnit rant). It was You Could Be Mine. This one had it all, the band was playing great Axl?s vocals were spot on and the pyro was really pumping the crowd up. Once again the whole crowd was singing.
? ? ? ? ? ? After that the band starts to jam. They do this a few times which I think is great it shows of their talent. Well anyways after the jam session was done there was a piano on stage and a "Mr. Dizzy Reed" who played a really heart felt piano solo which I think may have been better than Robin's solo.? Well after that we get treated to The Blues. Now before I saw these guys live I liked the 2002 versions of this song more but damn it this song felt rejuvenated. Axl' was jumping on and off of the piano and he just really nailed it and got a great crowd reception. After that Richard came out on stage and performed a so-so solo in my opinion. It wasn't bad but like Robin's solo it just sounded like he was just making noise. The band?s jam sessions are much better in my opinion. Plus we got a druken fuck to start bad mouthing him saying "Get off the stage faggot!"? Which was uncalled but hey he was drunk. Hell he even said something along the lines of "Axl's better on the guitar anyway!" which is hilarious if you remember the 2001 Madagascar at RIR3: hihi:.? After the solo we get treated to a pyro-infested Out Ta Get Me which was fucking great. Once again the whole crowd was singing along. After that the crowd was pumped again after having to sit through Richard's solo. So the band goes into another jam session,? this time Axl's on the piano wearing a strange golden suit jacket. Well after that he transitions into what I think we all knew was coming... November Rain. Axl was really good on this one. Like his voice hadn't really aged all that much, a big change from 2002. Plus Richards solo during it kicked a lot of ass, which I'd say made up for his previous solo. Then for the big closer we get fireworks falling from the ceiling in a sense which was awesome for some reason it got ya really into the performance which EVERYONE was singing to, it felt like.
? ? ? ? ? ? ?When November Rain was through we got treated to what I thought was one of the best songs of the night: I.R.S. . Axl's vocals were great on this one and the band was really spot on. Sadly me and my friend were pretty much the only ones singing along to it (damn it ain't easy being a "Downloading Mother Fucker" lemme tell ya ok). I think the crowd really liked this one though. After I.R.S. "Mr. Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal" comes on stage and plays this great guitar solo. I'd say it was a lot better than both Richard's and Robin's solo. I'm not sure what he was playing in the beginning, it sounded almost like some Hendrix in the very beginning and then sounded like something that I've never heard before and then we get treated to Don't Cry..... The solo-only version. It was great though because everyone was singing along to it (Damn it all Axl play it again you bastard you've done it without Shannon Hoon before: rant Smiley.? After that they played one of my favorites, My Michelle plus they got Bach on there so it was like having the best of both worlds. Needless to say they nailed that song. You really do have to wonder what would've happened if Bach became the lead singer for VR... and if he?d be there if he was.
? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?Axl then asked the crowd "Do you guys think this has gone ok so far?"? To which the crowd responded with a large group of "yeahs? and "fuck yeahs". So they went into Patience. The funny thing about this was that the crowd was singing before he was so he came in the whistling bit a little later and then started over. What the hell is it with The Palace and Patience? We all remember the 2002 one right? After that my friend and I were just about to take a seat and rest for a few when suddenly we hear the Nightrain whistle and EVERYONE GETS PUMPED UP AGAIN! Everyone was into that shit even in the seat people were dancing and everything. Axl's vocals were probably best on that song (aside form I.R.S).
? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?After that the band walked off of the stage and some idiots WERE ACTUALLY LEAVING!!!! WTF??!?!?! People it ain't 2002 anymore and this show kicked ass. Of course there will be an encore. After Frank was drumming "GUNS N' ROSES" and getting the crowd pumped up the band came back? on and played a newer version of Chinese Democracy which I had never heard so it was pretty mind blowing, aside from the fact that Axl pretty much fucked up the second verse but nonetheless it was amazing . Madagascar was next and it really is something to see live. In fact near the end there were actually people dancing to it. Remember the drunken idiot I told you about? Well it? turns out that he was one of the few aside from my friend and? I that actually knew Chinese Democracy and Madagascar and was singing along to them with us rofl. When that was done then we got the best part: Paradise City! This song was great and the pyro really kicked ass on this one. The solo was a little too extended for my tastes but it did show how good the band can play though which raised my hopes on the tracks of Chinese Democracy?god willing it'll come out.
? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? So needless to say this was a fantastic concert and anyone that wants to bad mouth these motherfuckers can go see em' live or shut the fuck up! Axl... no Guns N' Roses, its good to see ya fuckers back in the spot light!

Thanks for the review; very detailed. How was Chinese Democracy different and what did Axl do to fuck up the second verse (I've heard this a couple times now). Thanks.

On Chinese Democracy he attempted to repeat the chorus, and plowed right into the second verse.  He recovered and the band covered his ass.
