Seems they have no trouble selling this Venue out, they should have done 2 shows there, especially considering they have nothing sceduled on Saturday or Sunday after the show..

Kind of odd.

Well, at least there'll be an after party.

That's already big enough, ain't it?

just saying, in Dec 91 they played 3 consecutive sell-outs here, they could easily do 2 in a row here.

MSG has not sold out yet... You can still get 8 tix together on TM..... Don't listen to everything Bach and Guns tell you... I am sure it will sell out or be close by show time.....  But if they did two shows there would be problems..

Guys, it's not 1991 anymore. I don't know how old you are, maybe you were too young to remember, but GN'R was REALLY huge back in the days. It's not the same today.

Well, on Saturday there's a huge fight at the Garden (heavyweight title), so it would have to be on Sunday.  Like someone else said, I just don't think the demand is there for two shows.

Kind of odd.

First off, correct me if i'm wrong, but I think MSG is booked on other subsequent dates.

Second, yes they did sell out MSG, but it didn't happen nearly as fast this time as it did in 2002. In 2002, it sold out in 15 minutes, whereas this year it took a bit longer.

I highly doubt they could've sold out 2 back to back shows this year.

Technically under music standards and ticket sale standards, it has sold out. Even in 2002, a few tix were held back until the day and day before the show. But it was never anymore than a few tickets. Venues do this to try and fight scalpers.

It's also a VERY expensive arena to book -- as a result, lots more money can be had by booking nearby other venues.  (I think the number of music concerts at MSG has been declining over the years for this reason).

Maybe Uncle Axl will enjoy the nightlife NYC has to offer after the show. He may be out of commission with a nasty hangover the next day.  Does he have his pad in NYC yet?  After hours at Axl house everyone! smoking
