Here Today...

« on: October 29, 2006, 02:35:13 PM »

I was just watching a video on youtube and was reading the comments at the bottom. one comment said that chinese democracy has been going on for to long and velvet revolver have released one album already and are currently working on their second album. this reminds me of what axl said back in early 2006 when he was at korns party.

"We're working on 32 songs, and 26 are nearly done," he said at the party in an interview with Rolling Stone. Thirteen of these will be included on the first album, and the rest on two subsequent "sequels." According to Rolling Stone, Rose's favorites so far are "Better," "There Was a Time" and "The Blues."

hmmm what does that mean?? any ideas?

If feel it's really pointless to work on 3 albums at a time when your name is Axl Rose. "We'll drop the first one, then go on tour and when the record company feels that it has run it's course or whatever we'll drop the second one and so on. This way we don't have to go off the road for a long time"

Yeah, RIGHT!! If and when CD is released are we expected to believe that Axl won't find a reason to go back and tweek the second and third album? There are 2 absolutes in the world, Death and Finishing Touches.

And count  hihi

Axl has said himself that the plan is to drop 3 already recorded albums in a row, with a year between them.. This way he can tour and have free time in the future  Cheesy Wink

Given the current productivity, if Axl lives to be a 100 we'll get 4, maybe 5 albums.

Watch out for the Axl Rose - Mick Jagger Co-headlining tour in 2042.

nah i was only joking

if he intends on releasing a 2nd album next year then maybe hes done most of the finishing touches to it so he can do the touring as well

all a wild guess and speculation though

the only thing my 3 album thing is based on is something Axl said during an interview (Eddie Trunk i think?) where he said he was going to release 3 albums one each year with touring in-between

Yeah, this has been known for years now. He said he wants 3 albums done, so he can release one and tour. Then release the next one a year later and tour. Then do the same thing for the next one. Let's just worry about CD coming out first though.

If CD is released in November, I would like to see another album this time next year. But in GNR's world you never know.
