I don't get this whole Buckethead nostalgia thread. I saw the band with Bucket, and thought he was brilliant, but as we all know, Axl wouldn't got someone in who didn't have the chops : Bumble's great too, and he's got a hat just like me.

People don't reminisce about Paul Tobias, or Josh Freese for example, even though the two are probably the players on the leaked demos. Buckethead WAS, and great he was in the band. But he's not in the band anymore, lets look to the future.

Chinese Democracy is a blend of the lyrical wit of Axl Rose and the musical genius of Buckethead. I didn't believe this until I heard the leaks. There was a deep, deep chemistry there.

Yeah I don't think Uncle Axl would've allowed the leaks out with Bucket's solos if he was planning on erasing his contribution to CD.  Also Bumblefoot isn't gonna be on the recording so we're pretty sure Bucket will be on there.  All you haters out there that wanna end the Buckethead discussion get ready.  If Bucket's contributions remain on CD we will be discussing him a lot more in the future.  Also I agree that CD will be a blend of Axl and Bucket.  The only stronger chemistry is between Axl and Robin, but both relationships gave birth to this album.

I don't get this  Buckethead nostalgia
Listen to the demos. Then maybe you will "get it".
People don't reminisce about Paul Tobias
The ones who dont blindly worship Fortus miss him, because after hearing the demos people realized he was an intricate part of the band and didnt deserve all the hatred he got from fans back in the 90's.
Buckethead nostalgia thread.
Its not a Buckethead thread. Nesquick hijacked it(as usual). ok

I doubt anyone who says Buckethead was great would be a hater. I'm very familair with the demos : aren't most of us by now?
