Do you know how many people do commercials?

Slash did a MasterCard commercial years ago and Axl didn't suddenly reappear to say "Beef - it's what's fer' dinner!" did he?

I just don't want to hear a bunch of GNR songs in commercials.  I point to the Bob Seger song "Like A Rock" for my reasoning why.  Like a Rock is/was a good song.  Although it was probably written/recorded before I was alive, I remember it when I was a kid.  Then several years ago, Chevrolet came out with their truck commercials with that song and now I always think about Chevrolet Trucks when I hear that song.  I don't want people to associate Paradise City with an advertisement for the Panama City Convention and Visitors Bureau if you know what I mean. 

Having said that, I think Better is fine for this commercial because if it gets the new GNR sound to the masses without them having to seek it out.

I think it goes to show that Slash isn't near as cool as he once was and GNR are still cool as hell.  After-all, it's been brought up before in this thread...Whats cooler?  Harley bikes or VW cars?   hihi

Well, wasn't it said that Harley originally asked Axl for just Paradise City? How does Paradise City have anything to do with that advert? (Also, I don't really think Better suits that ad, but its cool to hear it anyways)

Paradise City was originally used to fill in until they were able to use Better.

I don't wanna get into trouble for discussing the commerical too much before we're allowed to.

When it's released I'll explain how I think verses chosen fit the commercial perfectly.
