What Axl does is very hard.? To sing the way he does while moving around and performing is etremely difficult.?

i don't know but i've seen other performers running and jumping and doing whatever it takes on stage without going backstage to recuperate for an hour and a half.
axl is the man, but don't treat him like a god

I don't think he spends an hour and a half back there, though does he? Let's not exaggerate. For what it's worth, neither Tyler or Jagger do the amount of running that Axl does. On one hand, maybe he should slow down a little, but that's how he has always done it - it wouldn't be a Guns show if he stood in one place and took it easy all night.

The thing is, he goes off during songs, not just during extended solos.  In fact, when I saw the band in Cleveland in '02 he left the stage usually once or more per song, probably to get oxygen.  It is very annoying, mainly due to the frequency of his trips backstage.

Is he still doing this?  Everyone in this thread seems to be saying that he's leaving during extended solos, but I worry that like last time he'll be on and off stage a couple dozen times per night.  Really, that was the one characteristic of the '02 show that prevented it from being a great show.

My thinking on that is this: you have the rest of Guns N' Roses to watch so it shouldn't be a big deal. Robin Finck alone has stage presence to spare. He's really alot more entertaining to watch these days then he was back in 02. I don't think you'll notice as much this time around.

He has made trips backstage during songs since they were big enough to have a backstage. Despite the theories about him using oxygen, my guess is that he doesn't feel really comfortable being out in front with nothing to do during long guitar solos.
