One in a Million

« on: October 02, 2006, 02:13:07 AM »

Hey everyone... it has been a while since my last post but... I was at the local fair tonight (The Big E - www.thebige.com) here in Massachusetts and Carrie Underwood was doing a concert.  I happen to be given VIP seating so I attended the concert... anyway to get to the point... she belted out "Patience" and "Sweet Child O' Mine" back to back after mentioning that she grew up listening to all kinds of music from country to rock.  After "Patience" she mentioned the song was by Guns N' Roses and the "arena" somewhat went crazy at the name of the band.  Just thought I'd pass along the information.  I have a 40 second video clip of "Sweet Child O' Mine" that I will post tomorrow or something.

Why does Carrie feel she needs to let the audience know it's a GNR song?

I guess maybe because the same thing happened when all the lame brains just loved Sheryl Crow's new song "Sweet Child O' Mine".  drool

Anyways, Carrie's hot n' all but her music ain't my thang.

Did she do a good job, or was it woman-nized like Crow did to it, and completely neutered?
