How do you guys think this show compares to Angel? I thought the 5th season of Angel was as good as the 5th season of Buffy... everything just seems "on" and they really have complete episodes and stories. Adding Spike to the cast increased the entertainment level that much more. The argument about the astronauts and cavemen had me laughing for about 10 minutes.
Personally I always felt that buffy was a better show than Angel. Although IMHO the final 2 seasons of Buffy were below the standard set but the rest of the series. Like season 6 was cool for having the musical, and the dark willow ending, but the rest of the season - and the whole magic=drugs thing just got too depressing for me. (I guess i'm simple and like happy stories!) - and then season 7 was cool but basicly a big build up for the whole season.
Byt contrast i always felt like the only cool characters on angel came from buffy, and that it was too camp as a show for me overall. (tho i stll watched it to keep the buffy universe in continuity).
But to me the gold stuff is season 1-5 of buffy!
