How do you become eligible for the pre-sale?

How do you become eligible for the pre-sale? I heard this is the place to be to find out info. I had to go thru hell the last time I saw GNR because i couldnt figure out this presale thing & ended up paying $430 for 3 tickets. My plan is to go to the MSG show for my birthday, so I want to make sure I'm able to go & not get raped by scalpers. So thanks to anyone who can help

there is a pre-sale page on the first page. you just sign up and you give some basic info (you need to have been a member of this board for at least one week) and they will email you (assuming all goes well) a password to get the presale and you can thenbuy your tickets online). check the first page, jarmo made it a sticky. i think i explained it right, if not somebody correct me or pm me.

Sounds right, though I'm afraid this guy hasn't been a member long enough.  Sad for him.
