Brain toured extensively with PRIMUS and played on the bands's releases "Brown Album", "Rhinoplasty", and "Antipop".
In 2000, Axl Rose invited Brain to join GUNS N' ROSES, with whom the drummer appeared for sporadic live dates in 2001 (including the Rock in Rio II Festival) and 2002 (including the MTV Video Music Awards).
