Sublime with Rome

What do you think of Sublime with Rome? I think Rome sounds great and I really like a few of the songs off the album but I also think a lot of the songs kind of sound the same. Maybe not quite Sublime caliber but I think it's great they gave it a shot. I hope the next album evolves their sound a little past what it is now. I know the original Sublime drummer left the band but hell, with Josh Freeze on drums I'm not complaining. Does anyone know if he is recording with them?

I really like Murdera and think it could even pass as a sublime song. I wish the rest of the album was that good. Also, while I am not incredibly fond of the studio version because of the female back up singers, I really like Rome's live acoustic versions of you better listen and the acoustic version on the Japan exclusive album.

I can't seem to find any news on them and all of the Sublime Forums seem pretty dead and very hostile towards Sublime with Rome so I figured I would see if anyone here knew what was going on and when/if they are going to release another album.

I dig them, i havent heard the first album but sirens is great.! The band is superb.
