Listen to the drums at the end of Catcher in the Rye...some lurvely fills going on there.

Brain is quality. He doesn't fuck up the intros...they aint that difficult...he just plays them differently

Josh Freese plays the drums on CITR.  ok

Really? How can you tell?

On the '99 session demos it's likely that he plays them, he was a member then if I remember well...

judging fromthe rock am ring broadcast and some of his work outside of guns...

he's great technically, no doubt. But he hasn't got the rock 'n' roll groove at all, for me brain is the worst part of the band, he plays so "stiff"...he fits perfectly with something like Primus, he's great with Bucket on his kinda stuff, but totally wrong for a rock 'n' roll band.

i ve seen Brain and Franck ferrer live this year with GNR.

franck is really fuckin better than brain ... at the Paris Gig i didnt even seen brain... this ;an is a ghost on stage and he doesnt plays like a god he is just doing his job. Franc seems to enjoy playing with GNR he is a great performer ... maybe not as good as brain but he fits gnr perfectly.

he fits GNR perfectly. Brain is really good but not for GNR. He seems to play like a Jazzman not a rocker.

my fav drummer in the world, can't wait to hear his contributions to CD!
I don't think he's very similar to Bonham though..

I agree. In no way is Brain like Bonham.

I FOUND: Brain sounds like the Queen drummer (Roger tyler). Their drums sound are pretty close judging by the Rock am Ring mix of the drums. yes

Don't really agree with that 'cause in my opinion roger tAylor? Wink? ,has got a better flow while playing the drums while Brain's just pounding the shit out of them hehe Smiley
