They must be expecting a following, or are going to offer some sort of CA, concert package!!  I like it, like they did the UK, create a regional buzz, from city to city in the same general geographic region!

Actually this is kinda getting scary..I think they're overbooking.....Sacramento, Fresno and Bakersfield are too close to one another.

Fresno being smack dab in the middle, approx 2 hrs from either city.....And since the Save Mart Center opened, many artists have been
passing up on Bakersfield and playing in Fresno knowing the people that want to see them will just make the drive up.

Not to mention Reno is only about a 2.5 hr drive or so from Sac.

They better plan on releasing a new single at the least within the next week or two...Else they'll be lucky to fill these venues up halfway
with less than a month to go.....

Very poor planning imo.

Does anyone know if Vegas/SF sold out yet?

Vegas are geared towards those in Vegas on vacation, that would be willing to pay high dollar.  I think the 1st Vegas show is nearly sold out!  The SF shows are sold out.  Inland Invasion is nearing 50,000 tickets sold--it's going to be packed to the mountains!!!!  This band is so damn good live, I would get tickets to at least two shows if I lived in CA!!!  Heck, I may have to stay in the area a little longer after Inland--and hit the road!

Very interesting. I am right in the middle of Sac and Fresno. Axl might as well just add Modesto to the list. rofl

They're all close but they're all sizeable cities.  Bakersfield has probably 400,000 people in the surrounding areas, Fresno probably close to a million and Sacramento several million if you count the areas nearby the city.  I guess GnR is banking on people staying home.  I don't think they should have much trouble selling tickets in Sacramento or Fresno, and Bakersfield's arena isn't as big as those ones

A hair's breadth!!

Right. Also, the people that would otherwise have to make the 2.5 hour trip don't have to.

As always though, we'll see how it goes...

I would imagine, they are planning on a major event in between now and the shows, which will solidify ticket sales.  Moreover, they are going to have people following them, or attending multiple shows.

I don't know...

It may help in solidifying sales, but really for the big picture. Let's just hypothetically say that this Cali tour is all that they have in the works..

The Save Mart Center is a great venue. I've seen Velvet Revolver and System of A Down there. I wonder if there will be a presale?Huh??
