all four tracks that GNR has done from The Rolling Stones are included on ''Sticky Fingers'' (Dead Flowers, Wild Horses, Sway, You Gotta Move)

Oh, I forgot Sympathy for the devil  confused

And Jumping Jack Flash!!  Tongue
Haven't they done fool's cry and paint it black? oh shut the fuck up, tank! Lips Sealed

Althought I don't remember the contents of them well, underneath the zipper and velvet underground's banana, there were disappointments, for anyone I assume.
Wait, didn't we have sticky fingers as a board mate here?  Or was his name lies? : Grin

or a year earlier? sorry I'm confused. confused
That's the plan!!!  hihi

'Madagascar' obviously has lots of orchestration, but as far as 'The Blues', if they put the newer, more stripped-down version on the album, I'm sure Paul's work won't be there...

It probably will be there, but better if he wasn't  Undecided

This would really be a great song to add to their set all the time or record for an album. Great lyrics that fit Axl and Gnr in general perfect. Here is some more info on the song....and ps, Jarmo, you stole my thunder on the Buckmaster connection! I mentioned this first when I heard they covered it in London-only one person responded Grin-I guess I don't hold as much "Sway" as you do.  hihi Finally, note that Keith Richards doesn't play guitar on this track yet he gets a writing credit. Interesting..at least to me.

Recorded in April & May, 1970. Released April 23, 1971 on the album Sticky Fingers
Lead Vocal & Rhythm Guitar: Mick Jagger Electric Lead Guitar: Mick Taylor Bass: Bill Wyman Piano: Nicky Hopkins Drums: Charlie Watts Backing Vocals: Keith Richards Strings: Paul Buckmaster

SWAY
(M. Jagger/K. Richards)

Did you ever wake up to find
A day that broke up your mind
Destroyed your notion of circular time

It's just that demon life has got you in its sway
It's just that demon life has got you in its sway

Ain't flinging tears out on the dusty ground
For all my friends out on the burial ground
Can't stand the feeling getting so brought down

It's just that demon life has got me in its sway
It's just that demon life has got me in its sway

There must be ways to find out
Love is the way they say is really strutting out

Hey, hey, hey now
One day I woke up to find
Right in the bed next to mine
Someone that broke me up with a corner of her smile, yeah

It's just that demon life has got me in its sway
It's just that demon life has got me in its sway

It's just that demon life has got me in its sway
It's just that demon life has got me...

It's just that demon life has got me...
