I want the band to be happy playing with who ever fits the slot. If they don't get along it's not going to work for long.
peace out

Guns N'Roses isn't about filling slots... Guns N'Roses are Slash, Axl, Izzy, Duff and Steven.

Period.

I'ld prefer the bucket any day, but Ron is way better then Wes Borland or Mick Thompson in almost every way. Well, 'better' might not be the right word, since both aforementioned players suit their respective styles better then Ron does. But Ron is more versatile.

I was lucky enough to see BH live twice on the last tour and he was awesome, he more than matched Slash. As for Robin Finck...well the crowd in Glasgow werent too impressed by his solos and hes not in the same league as either Slash or BH. BH has something unique, he is extremely talented, Finck looks like hes trying to hard to impress.

buckethead sure knows how to play but he's a little bit over the top for me. Personally I dig ron's stuff moore than buckets. I really like ron's style so for me he's the man. However I think that bh's stuff should stay for the first cd.

Buckethead is amazing, I love his solo albulms, but I don't want him back in the band.
If any guitarist comes back it should be Slash!

I loved Buckethead in GN'R and I always wanted him back in the band after he left in 2004... But now we have Ron and I want him to stay... I hope he gets to record with the band at somepoint as he is great!

I think he is the only person who could replace Bucket.

To me, it's a question of whose best for GnR in the long term, in regrards to technical ability, personality, and chemistry with the other members.  As much as I love Buckethead's parts - those that I've heard - Ron is the better fit.
