the majority/all of the band wouldnt want buckethead back anyway, i remember tommy stinson saying in an interview "ahhh buckethead, i glad thats over" or something along those lines

Well, the band did rehearse with 2 players during several weeks I think... Ron was hired by Axl just a couple of days before the tour started. and according to the rumours, some bandmembers were not happy of this Axl's very last days decision... kinda too late...

this was because apparently Axl was trying to get Bucket back up until the 11th hour

No, absolutely nobody in this band ever wanted hiom back. Tommy called Buckethead "The nightmare", Robin did have trouble with BH too, BH was never planned to be back. The band just don't want it. and it's fine like that. Man, this band is so much better now without him, it's incredible. like day and night. If bbf stayed, I would be happy, if he left and Richard took the Lead I would be even more happy. Whatever the decision is, it will be fine for me.

he said something like "the Buckethead episode was a nightmare, but he's gone, you know, it's goooooooood!". In another famous interview with Jarmo he also said that Buckethead's departure was "the best thing it could have ever happened for the band" (or something like that). Tommy seemed like Buckethead did a lot of trouble in the band. Listen to him, he just can't stand Buckethead. I strongly support Tommy on that one. Buckethead destroyed all the work and all the effort of the new-guns n' roses to be a band. He was a sabotage.

Probably it was the best thing for him, sure not for the band. since Buckethead departure we have nothing. Bring Buckethead back and please nesquick shut up!!!
