Dizzy and Hookers N' Blow September 3

Ticketmaster says Hookers n Blow featuring Dizzy Reed at the Trocadero in Philadelphia on sale Aug. 7---show September 3.  God knows who will show up for that one?

shit!! i'll be at the jersey shore.

the troc is one of the best venues in the world.

it's VERY interesting that he is playing there. he played in philly a couple months ago at a tiny bar, and it didn't sell out. why would he return so soon at a much larger venue?

just checked and he's booked for the Balcony, which is a very small area upstairs in the troc. that makes much more sense.

still interesting that he's playing philly again so soon.

The date, of course, implies that Guns won't be touring at that time.  Unless he'll do something similar to the accoustic shows and just do odd dates in the cities in which the main band are playing.
