Maybe you need to add heretodaygonetohell.com to the list of allowed sites in Norton?

I had that problem too, Laura.? Here's the instructions on how to add a site to the Norton allowed list:

1.? Open Norton Internet Security
2.? (under the heading 'Settings for') Click on to highlight "Privacy Control"
3.? Click "Configure" (on mine it's the second button in yellow on the lower right side of the window)
4.? Click "Advance"
5.? Click "Add Site" (lower left side of the window).? A new site/domain box appears.? Enter the name of the site that you want to receive and click OK.? The site name appears in the left frame of the Options window.
6.? Click (to highlight) the name of the new site (on that left side).
7.? Click the Global Settings tab (on the top right side).
8.? In the "Information about visited sites" section, clear "Use default setting."
9.? Click Permit.
10.? Click OK to close the Options window.

Hope that helps.? Smiley

P.S.? You may need to restart your computer for that to take effect (but I really don't remember if I had to or not)

Get rid of that bloated software and try Zonealam. It's free and hasn't been hacked yet.

Anyone have any suggestions for those of us who use zone alarm security suite?

I also use the windows firewall and popup blocker; maybe they're conflicting...

My Windows picks up on the fact that I have Norton and uses Norton as it's firewall instead of the Windows version. Not sure about zone alarm  Undecided

My computer recognizes and uses my Norton too but I also needed to TURN OFF THE WINDOWS FIREWALL.

@ the dirt - maybe that's what you need to do to get your Zonealarm to work? (I really don't know.? I'm just guessing here.)

if your computer screen looks like mine, this is how I was able to check:
go to Control Panel
go to Security Center

now at this point I see three blue lines - Firewall - Automatic Updates - Virus Protection - and all of them have a green "ON" light next to them.? below that it says "Manage secuirty setting for:? Internet Options - Automatic Updates - Windows Firewall...

click on Windows Firewall
choose Off
EVEN THOUGH IT'LL NOW SAY AT THE TOP "YOUR PC IS NOT PROTECTED: TURN ON WINDOWS FIREWALL, I think this is where your Zonealarm will take over? (when I click on the blue Firewall with the green on light, it tells me that my Norton firewall is on)

click OK (this is to complete turning off the Windows Firewall)

So anyways ... maybe now you'll be able to add HTGTH in your Zonealarm allowed list? (Again, I really don't know.? I'm just guessing here.)

Good Luck.

P.S.? probably the only reason that I "needed" to turn off my Windows Firewall was because I don't know how to configure it.? Embarrassed?

Maybe you can find the help you need on this ZoneAlarm forum:
http://forums.zonelabs.com/zonelabs

I found this thread about not being able to see pics in the ZoneAlarm Configuration section ... "Unable to see some photos on msn groups site":
http://forums.zonelabs.com/zonelabs/board/message?board.id=cfg&message.id=29331#M29331

Maybe the fix you need is the same as this?? Huh

I also have a problem...
I use Norton as the antivirus and Zone Alarm as the firewall, and I can't see the smilies as animation, they are all still.

I've never even realised that until last week when I posted on the board from the school library. As a matter of fact, I can't see any gif on any website.

Anyone knows what that is?
And by the way, when I go to Privacy > Options > Ad Blocking, and there are those boxes and the Ads to Block, animation, pop up and banner are not ticked, which means it might not be the firewall configuration.

I had followed it but it was nothing to do with the browser, and it wasn't only on this board.

Anyway, I managed to figure out what was wrong, and it was some firewall settings.

But thanks  ok

Could you post step-by-step instructions on how you fixed it in case someone else is having the same problem.

Okay.

This is for those who use Zone Alarm as a firewall.

Go to:
Privacy > Main > Ad Blocking > Off

This will unblock pop up, animation and banners.
But you can always choose the Custom option if you just want to unblock/block one or two of them.
