I want to hear reckliss life, nice boys, anything goes, you're crazy (Lies version) and ahem...One in a Million would be killer...
i would be surprised if gnr ever plays reckless life or anything goes again, considering that they are old hollywood rose songs co-written by chris weber...

No.
1) CD Songs - No matter where you land on the chicken before the egg argument (i.e. were the leaks leaked intentionally because those were the songs they wanted to play on this tour or are they playing those songs on this tour because they were unintentionally leaked), I think it's clear that Axl does not want the public hearing the rest of the album until it's released.? If he was planning on unleashing any more "big guns", you would have heard them at the shows that were to receive the most press: Hammerstein, Download, etc.? There's an off chance they could drop 1-2 more when they get back to the UK, but I really doubt it.
2) More UYI Songs - I know everyone is clamoring for more, but I don't see it happening.? Axl won't play Coma or Locamotive because they are "Slash songs" and they rarely played them live with Slash anyway (I am in no way advocating reunion talk here, just stating the facts as? I see them).? Same is pretty much true with Estranged; he sees it as partially a Slash song because of the great guitar lines and they barely play it or pulled it off with Slash to begin with.? They never really played Breakdown with the old band to begin with, I don't see it happening now.? I thought I had read somewhere he did not want to play Don't Cry in memory of Shannon Hoon; perhaps Ron's instrumental rendition is a way of placating fans so they can hear the song, while still honoring Shannon's memory by omitting the vocals.? Most of the Izzy songs (Pretty Tied Up, Dust n' Bones, Bad Obssesion, Double Talkin' Jive) have a slight chance of being played now that Izzy is annouced for more of the Euro tour, but I still doubt it.? The one I'm still surpirsed they aren't playing is Civil War.
coma is an axl song. sure slash wrote the guitar parts and an amazing job he did but that song is one of axl's baby's.
It's Slash' baby, and Axl said that himself.

. It is not a coincedence that only the leaked songs and a few from 2002 are being played. There is simply to much at stake with Chinese to give the entire album away in a live setting before it is released. Too much money involved.? So, you can bitch all you want, but there will be no more new songs played until the single and album is released.
Never thought about it that way - but ur absolutely right - they dont want anything else out there for free....

the song is axl's look at the writing credits on illusion 1. it is all about axl...............except for the guitar work. at least thats what i thought, i'd rather not argue.

It would be funny though if Axl was all fucked up one night and did a VR song just to liven up things.
If this happened, I would probably convert from Christianity to Axlism.
I already attend the Church of Axlism.
Maybe Axl doesn't play much UYI stuff because everybody's always bitching and saying the albums are just a bunch of filler. That always annoys me. I personally prefer the UYI albums over AFD, although I know I'm one of the very, very, very few. I think Axl's song selection is shortened a bit because of who the song supposedly belongs to. However, with Izzy playing with them so much, I was hoping they'd unleash a few more Izzy songs rather than just "Think About You." I'd rather hear "Pretty Tied Up" or "Dust N Bones" or "14 Years" anyday. I also wish Axl would perform some of HIS songs, like "Breakdown" or "Dead Horse." But eh, those songs are just "filler" anyway, right??

I'm not going to argue over it either, I'm just saying what AXL said himself:
Axl: It's like 11 minutes and 45 seconds long, with no chorus. And I think there was only like one verse that somewhat repeats itself.
It's Slash's baby - it's his monster.
The song used to be called Girth.

now that you brought that up i do remember that. it's just that the songs lyrics were about the coma axl slipped into and he put alot of work into it. i just feel that no song from the original band should be off limits to this band unless for whatever reason axl doesn't want to do something. in my opinion with pittman and the three guitarists aboard coma would be outstanding along with, perfect crime, civil war and the garden to name a few. i think as the tour progresses and the album comes out the set will change alot more. each leg should have a different " call " list.

I simply think Axl is holding off on playing more UYI material, perhaps because that material was written and performed during a period in Gn'R's history that he much rather forget about nowadays..
I don't think we'll hear anymore UYI tracks in the Fall though if we dont hear them before the end of this tour, because in the Fall hopefully these guys will have their own album out, making it kind of redundant to promote the UYI material..

Maybe he's holding back on the UYI songs for the reunion...
Just kidding, either he's just not into it or he wants to keep some tricks up his sleeve for later tours.
