3-4 minutes to catch his breath after doing a few songs?? I didn't notice that at all on the 12th or 15th?? Was it just me or is this an exageration?

Yes and no. I'd say 3/4 of the times that there are instrumental breaks in the songs, Axl would run behind the curtain. I can't remember where the info came from but there was something about Steven Tyler introducing him to the idea of having some pure oxygen, which I believe he even gets from the pit.

I'm pretty sure that just before 'I see you standing......' at the end of Rocket Queen on the 12th, when Axl came back out, he had had a bit toooo much gas cause he couldn't control his voice. It sounded like he was on helium bt trying to fight it and bring it down.

That's cool thanks. But why so many copyrights? I think one at the bottom of the pic is enough.
Anyway, thanks for sharing.

It's amazing to hear that the solo did infact come from Izzy Smiley

As loads of people have said that it was Fortus and Izzy was playing rhythm (i dont know as all ive seen is the bad Quiktime movie of Think About You)

Great article!

Bar fight!? One witness said, "Axl Rose could've torn Tommy (Hilfiger) to shreds," but it was not to be.? The scuffle between the G n' R singer and designer Hilfiger at a New York b-day party for actress Rosario Dawson was broken up before it got out of hand.? Shortly after the melee, G n' R rocked an acoustic set, and Rose gave the srowd a snake-shake.

Rose and Hilfiger: You gotta keep 'em separated.

Thanks for posting this article! I just bought it today. I was totally blown away to see a tiny picture of myself banging my head away up in Mezzanine 1, you can't see it here because the heretodaygonetohell logo is blocking it, but I am visible right underneath his microphone! Does anybody know how I could get a copy of this picture from Rolling Stone!  ok
