If there's several rockers to be heard on the album I bet some of them are radio friendly and catchy, thus having prospects of being "big" commercially. Axl's own preferences in music go beyond commercial aspects of the tracks so his favorites aren't necessarily the ones that will be the biggest commercially.
I dont consider Big Gun to mean commercial hits. When band members describe CD having songs that are mindblowing, earth shattering, etc., I consider those tracks to be big guns.
And we can stop with the fact like presentation regarding information on CD.
Or you can stop with it. I am not changing the way I post, and I dont think I need an IMO before every sentence to get my point across.
There can be dozens of great tracks that the band considers superior to what we've heard and protects them to a greater extent from leaking. Meaning we don't even know the titles!
I dont buy that. If there were dozens of tracks that are light years ahead of the songs we have heard, those songs would be being performed instead of what we are hearing now. Axl is not going to perform new songs that have no chance of being on the album. I could see maybe one of the songs not making the cut, but all of them not making it so these "unheard dozens" have a chance to make CD? No way.

they wouldn't be playing them, because of bootleggers Roll Eyes

then everyone would have them before the album comes out. ?mabye not 'dozens', but i'm there's a couple.

We've already heard Big Guns. TWAT and CITR were tracks that had been hyped for years. We've heard them. Axl considers The Blues and Better two of his favorite songs. We've heard them. Only mythical tracks we haven't heard yet are Prostitute and This I love.

I don't think so. CITR wasn't supposed to be leaked... I don't think. And why would Axl release the best stuff first? So we can be disappointed with the rest of the stuff? He's not stupid and just because they're his favorites doesn't mean he thinks they're the best.

I don't care what anyone says...IRS is second fiddle to NO song   rant.

...but saying that, TWAT is a track that I have secretly longed for by Axl. A tripped out journey. His voice owns my soul...and when Im up in the clouds that shit plays with my mind like it is a puppet. Axl has a voice that would have been so through the fucking stratosphere with the psychedelic hippie trance music in the late 60s/early 70s. I wish he would do more tripped out shit with his god voice more often. Its a shame he doesnt make trance music to with that coice of his. Absolute injustice.

...Better is also fucking great. Goddam I really like it more and more as time passes. These are all Big Guns.

CITR is very beatiful as well...

I agree with that.? It's my favorite of the new tracks with Better a close second.? The music and vocal melodies are the best yet from the new line-up, IMO.

This is for BabyGorilla and the people like him.
Before all my posts about subjective matters there should be an IMO before the post. I took this sig down but of course it has to go back up.

I like the 4 leaked songs a lot.  We will see with the rest of the album.  I have faith in Axl.  I have played the leaks for many of my non-gnr friends (25-30 years old) and they love IRS the best.  They think that song kicks ass.

We will hear the "Big Guns" when Chinese Democracy is released or when they are played live for the first time.

a song like better is really good but not mind blowing.. I think it will do very well on the charts if it gets released.. Same with twat very good but not mind blowing.. citr is good too but different then typical gnr..

Mind blowing to me is more like coma, or nr because we rarely saw a 7-8 minute epic like that done that way..
