I have to agree with the comparison not being fair.

If you're not very familiar with Tool's catalogue, and the songs they're playing, the songs can be difficult to follow. Their songs are very different from what GN'R plays and are usually hard to get into the first time. GN'R songs, on the other hand are usually very straight forward They usually have a nice 4/4 rythm, and 99% percent of the crowd has heard at least a few of the songs that they're playing.

I'm seeing both this summer and I'm looking forward to seeing both of them..
