I think I remember seeing that GN'R was only booked for a 1 hr/45 min show tonight at Rio - could explain the slightly shorter setlist.

The metro was closing at 2.45.

So, they had to finish before that time.

I don?t they were booked for only 1 hour and 45 minutes...

I'm not bitching or trying to start a conspiracy at all - I'm just trying to explain the shorter set for those who ARE bitching. The show kicked ass and I enjoyed it. (Watching the replay now)

according to someone who was there, they only played one encore because they had to finish up the show, that's probably why axl introduced the band in the middle of paradice city too, they were probably planning on playing madagascar and chinese democracy (or some other song) and doing band introductions after nightrain.
