look the band sucked today . But that isn't what is upsetting me that much ?, what is upsetting me is that they were better at rock in rio 3. ? Axl sounds better now than he did in 02 ?but sadly ?the band doesn't for the exception of Richard Fortus who kicks ass. ? Why is it that this band always fuck up when they are on the main stage. ?They sucked at the VMA's ?and now they suck at rio ( where people are watching all over the world). ?I'm sad to say it but this band has become the New York Knicks of rock, ?they can't seem to ever get anything right. ? People say the mixes were bad ?on aol ?but please explain to me why they weren't bad for The Darkness . ?I don't think AOL has a vendetta against GNR. ? Sound crew is part of the band ?if they fuck up ?there is nobody to blame but the band itself. ? No excuse for this happening to a band of GNR magnitude. ?Do you think this shit would happen to Queen or U2 ?of course not because they are professional ?and know hwat they are doing. ?I was so pumped up for this show because I thought Axl and company were going to kick major ass and prove the doubters wrong. ?All they did was add fuel to the fire. ?The Darkness sounded much better than GNR tonight ?and that is a disgrace. ? I just hope Axl doesn't freak out and cancels the tour. ?I hope he has his therapist with him because if he gets the chance of watching this show on TV ?he is going to lose his mind and fire his entire crew .

ANYWAYS   The problem I had, and I'm sure the rest of you had the same problem, was that at certain parts, either the guitars were turned down, or Axl couldn't be heard.  Now, I'm wondering, was it just for the internet audience who had it this way, or was it the same for the RIO crowd.  Maybe they heard a perfect mix?

I thought the NR solos were high moments of the show. But I'm not sure the players in the band could hear themselves or each other too well.

Someone who was actually AT THE SHOW says that the sound was great there. ?I truly believe that the mix we got was bad, but the band sounded good. ?

Axl had a bottle of something on stage. The shit show was do to a shitty audio mix. AND axl was great on some songs and tired on others. And i think the band wastes alot of time on solos and need to play more songs.
