Let me see ...

Rock in Rio 3 was one of the most important Guns N' Roses shows. It was the return of GN'R !! There were 200.000 in the crowd, including myself! It was incredible ...

Rock in Rio 5... the band sounds better ... Axl sounds better ... we have new songs ... but no "new old" songs ... it was a great show, but the set was too short... No Madagascar, TWAT, Chinese Democracy, My Michelle, or Think About You ?? Come on!! One of them please!! And at the begginig i thought i was at a Rick Wakeman show ... i could only hear the keybords !! Ok, RIR3 had a bad sound, but at least i could hear the solos ...

My final opinion: Rio 3 ... but this one was really great too ...

Madagascar and There was a Time should have had priority over Knocking on Heavens Door and Patience (2 GnR songs i'd like to see dropped for good  Grin )

The set was simply cut short due to time constraints.? If you listen carefully to the comments made before "Paradise City", Dizzy is instructed to play "PC".? He, obviously, was preparing to play something else.? More than likely it would have been "Madagascar", since it begins with keyboards.? And I doubt they were planning to whip out "Silkworms" or "My World".? ?Tongue

At any rate . . . RIR5 > RIR3.? Axl--hair and all--looked and sounded much better.

Can't you judge a show from wattching it on the internet?
Come on ...
The only thing you can't judge is the crowd's vibration, the energy of the band, the quality of the "public adress" sound ... i stick to my opinion ... and it includes saying last night show fkn ruled !!
