We at Blowin' Brains Webzine had made a review for the show in New York. It's in spanish, so sorry for the non spanish-speaking, but I know a lot of members of this forum are spanish-speaking and would like to read the review in his mother-tonge for sure.

You can read it by CLICKING HERE.

I'm gonna summarize the review since we have a lot going on and don't have too much time...

This review was done by spanish a reporter.

Guns N' Roses tour starts today in New York & We were there.

We entered the Hammerstein ballon at 19:30 We could see the stage at the very end, big stage Guns N' Roses Style...The whole place is packed with merchandising; hats, bandanas, shirts..

The openning act, Bullet for my Vallentine, gets on the stage. Not a good show, very enthusiastic, but not enough.

After the BFMV show music is played throw the speakers; you could hear Metallica, Skid Row, Nickelback...and while Smells like teen spirit was played, at 1100 the ligths go off and people start chanting "guns n' roses" all of the sudden, you could hear an amazing voice, better than ever, saying "you know where the fuck you are..." The place goes nuts...

Axl appears on the stage with jeans and a black shirt. Axl had changed his looks but not his style.

The new guitarist...all the rumours that had been spreaded out turned to be true. On the stage, with a customed footprint shape guitar, appears Mr. Ron ?Bumblefoot? Thal.

Great sound and amazing vocals. Axl sounds Better than the 2001 and 2002 tours. It's so easy, Brownstone.. and then, the first surprise of the night; Better. A brand new tune that had leaked a few months earlier. A lot of people hadn't heard the song yet, but they were delighted, others we already knew it by heart we couldn't stop singing to it. The show carried on with LALT, SCOM, a short version of Patience, KOHD (Dylan Style) and Madagascar. In the middle of the song, Axl says "motherfuckers...I see you know the lyrics of the new songs, you've downloaded them from the net".

Axl then introduces the band, the last one is Ron Thal. He then plays a solo that links to YCBM.

After YCBM, and a few ?minutes of silence, Dizzy plays a piano solo, everybody claps. Then we hear the Blues, Outta get me and Novemeber Rain (with a previous Axl piano solo).-

Another highlight of the night came when a tall, blonde guy joins the stage. That was Sebastian Bach (former Skid Row singer) who joined Axl to sing "My Michelle". The band walks out.

After waiting for a few minutes, two images are projected onto the stage curtains. You could hear some Chinese speaking and a "gong". A low pitch voice says "chinese democracy starts now". Chinse Democracy is played (the song) then IRS and TWAT and Nightrain. Then Robin plays a decent solo that leads to PC.

The show is over and just one word can describe the 2 hour show. Amazing.

Edit.- well, I got too carried away and translated pretty much the whole thing.
