These are the times of my bullshit life!

I know with the shows coming up and all the rumors going around that not many people will care about this, but one of the new SA songs that Tommy records on has been posted at http://www.myspace.com/soulasylumofficial   The song is called Oxygen.  Personally I like it, but I've always liked SA.  Thoughts??

i see the light at the end, but everytime i take a step, it gets dim... tell me is this hell we're living in? if so, heaven's gotta be better, but if we're hellbound, whatever, it's going down.

Until Axl goes on this new tor and releases an album, most of the music press won't take him seriously since we have been hearing about CD for many years.

I believe he just plays bass.  Although this article claims that he sings on four songs.

Drummer Michael Bland (Prince, Dixie Chicks, Sons Of Almighty) contributed to the album as did the Replacements' Tommy Stinson, who stood in as bassist for two tracks ("Bus Named Desire" and "Oxygen") and sang on four. According to a spokesperson, Bland and Stinson will join Murphy and vocalist Dave Pirner on a spring tour, which begins April 12 in Minneapolis and will run through August.

This is gonna be Soul Asylum's best album they've ever done. Dave sounds great Dan rips and with Tommy and Michael Bland the group sounds tight! The song on their myspace "Stand Up and be Strong" is also a new one and they just took "All is Well" off and put Oxygen in it's place. I cant' wait for this album. I have all their albums(12 in total). These guys also rip live. Saw them way back in 1993 when Karl Murphey(RIP) was on bass and Grant Young was still on drums.
