john 5 official forum admin speaks

I've been on the john 5 forum recently and here's what the forum admin had to say.
I guess the whole rumor isnt so recent as we all tought. it's been going around for years.

"John's supposed connection with GnR has been a rumour for a couple of years now and one that pops it's head back up from time to time.

I have never heard anything from John's team about this, and as such am closing this as I believe it to be a rumour again - nothing more.

As we all are aware the big thing for John at the moment seems to be Rob Zombie."

i saw the first night of the rob zombie show in la and john 5 was amazing as well as pretty happy to be where he was.  He did an amazing solo that sounded like a buckethead solo.  He could pull t off without a problem but I dont think its gonna happen.

If Richard or Robin can pull off (sounding good) Bucketheads parts live then I'll be impressed, but I don't think they'll be able to, they need a right guitarist who can play that style. In 2 weeks we'll know either way.

Personally I dont want a new guitarist (except john 5), but I think theyll probably have someone new around.

You actually think they are going to say "yes john is is guns and will be on tour with them this summer"? If you do you dont knwo anything about how the guns camp works.

I am no fan of Robin's guitar playing, crappy tone and his leads are lame. Axl could have done so much better.

I would like to see John 5 in Guns, but that whole played out goth look is about as original as all of the "hair metal" looks of the late 80s. Goth is...well, over.

My guess is that Finck n Fortus handle the shows in NYC and the tour after RiR which may have a special guest; i'm thinking Brian May.
