Oh my God is a great song.... The studio version is great. However.....the live performances of that song.....the vocals....

What? The band did not ended the song early. Axl just sings a verse that wasn't supposed to be there.. When it goes to the ending, Axl tried to sing the right words, but it was already out of the regular tempo.. That's why the instrumental ends and he was still singing.

Of course it was not intentional. And it was Axl mistake, not the band. That's why I prefer the HOB version (or the studio/demo version)...

I almost haven't ever talked about this topic on any board because I always get my head torn off for saying Axl or his band could make a mistake! I'm glad to see that at least some folks can admit it. I think it sounds cool if you know it's coming, but I'd prefer to hear the song with the band playing until the end the way it was recorded, but I'll take that version too.

well axl is in his 40s (i think) and the band he has now, in my oppinion, arnt that great so im sure the odd fuck up here and there or axl not sounding right or whatever you wanna call it is gonna happen sometimes.

second: it was intentional and axl's voice sounded kick-ass at the ending.

third: go back to where you came from.

no no, at the end of the song, the band missed out a bar of music, which made them finish early and made axl sound like he was singing out of key, when he was actually singing properly..... Hired musicians = their fuck up not axls

No they didnt. Axl sung the same line twice by accident. It still sounded cool the way the music stopped and he did the last line though.

Of all the new songs its the one I listen to the most.  Its a great piece of work lyrically and musically.  In my opinion, of all the new songs, would do the best commercially.

Not to be on Axls junk but the fuck up and all bein said i think that his voice was amazing on the Rio version.  I just listened to it for the first time in a while and i was suprised.  And him singing at the end without the band was pretty cool.  And besides no ones perfect.  He/The band fucked up so what? Its not like some small fuck up that can almost go unnoticed is gonna make the entire performance go down the drain.
