Richard Fortus and GNR

Is Richard Fortus is the only member of GNR that could have played in the old band and nobody would have complained? ? He stands out among the freaks ( Buckethead and Finck). By the way Finck has to be one of the worst live guitarist I have ever heard.? ?Anyway, I have learned to appreciate Richard Fortus .
