Axl and Duff both playing at the Download Festival

As much as I'd love to see Duff in the band, Slash and Axl would be amazing by itself. Of course, if I had my choice, it would be Axl, Slash, Duff, Izzy and Steven. But you can't have everything, right? I absolutely KNOW Slash and Axl will perform GNR tunes together again one day - the question is when? I say, sooner than you think (but probably not this year).

With Axls reputation for showing up right before a show and leaving right after it's pretty safe to say that he won't run into Duff.  But if Duff is backstage at the same time as Guns are performing then things might get a bit interesting.

It looks like this will delay the VR album further which is unfortunate. I wonder what Matt and Slash will do in the meantime.

If VR has already entered the studio, or are planning to, then Duff likely will be done before his AIC dates. Matt and Duff record their tracks live together usually, and since this is their "job" i doubt it will take them more than a few weeks to lay the back tracks...I remember reading that Duff said him and matt have 3 tries/takes at something and if they dont nail it, they say fuck it, so i doubt this will delay the VR album.

Your a fucking idiot and I bet not too old either. They were best friends who went through hell and back to make it and they when they did they travelled the world together. Just because they had different opinions on what GnR should doesn't mean they wouldn't want to talk again. And saying you wish Axl and Duff would fist fight just shows how stupid you and wookieboy is.

Duff will be at the download festival playing with alice in chains, what are the chances of axl and duff 'chatting'??and if so what do u think will be the outcome???i think there bound to bump in, this will fuel some more rumours

Axl arrives 5 minutes before he takes the stage (3  hours after the show was to start) and does not talk to anyone. Duff is more  punctual. I doubt they will even see each other.
