"So I've been sitting on this for the better part of 2 years and i figure it's time I share a story with you that is kind of cool - I'm gonna leave out a few details, but it is interesting.

2 years ago at the Beverly Hills Ferrari show Axl was there. This is pretty common knowledge since you can find photos on the Web of this. Axl is a fan of the same stereo shop as me and the owner of this shop does some pretty amazing things. Anyhow, Axl brought a demo with him that day and played several tracks in one of the cars that the stereo shop had on display. I have never kicked myself more for not being somewhere in my entire life I don't think. Grrr...anyways, talked to the owner that next week and he said the recording quality at the time needed work (the guy is a huge audiophile - rough demos I expect - heck maybe the fact he told Axl this delayed the album these past 2 years...oh well). The interesting thing is even back then he was perfecting this masterpiece and obviously was not happy enough with it to release it until this year. I've always wondered when this album is finally released if those tracks he demo'd that day will even make the cut. A lot of time has passed and there must be over a hundred songs on the chopping room floor. Oh well - fun little story - again, wish I had been there."
