What about Axl's views on Slash in the lawsuit claim last month?
That certainly didn't make it seem like anything was patched up...

And why is Weiland working on a new solo album when VR is supposed to record?

Why would Weiland work on a solo album, ever?  VR is the only card he has left to play.

Well if rumours are true, VR should have entered the studio to record Libertad today...I just hope there are some paparazzi outside their studios to see what is going down.

Off topic i know, but I hope VR doesn't name the album "Libertad".  It sounds like a damn cholesterol medication.

How is it the last card he has to play? he had quite a few hits with STP.. and he band truthfully was not very good.. a lot of there music was simple, monotonous and the solos were... lets just say not really there..

Any street band can play for the music Scott Supports...

Gnr on the other hand is a more complex system instrumentally, where as in each member plays a vital part to each song, and the solos are amazing....

Plus Scott could get pharrel to help him.. pharrel is probably one of the top in the biz right now...

Key word:  Had a few hits with STP.  STP's last record, Shangri-La Dee Da sold like shit and the band broke up after that.  If not for names like Slash and Duff and the whole "The Project" hype, VR would've tanked.

It is a crap album name. With Pharrell producing no less...?! Man, I'm staying clear of VR from now on.

Ok MuchNews just did one of its little segments (for those not in the know, Much Music is Canada's answer to MTV... actually MTV Canada exists but it sucks. MM is marginally better).

They had a 3-part clip:

A) They report hearing "rumors" that Slash and Duff will join Axl for some shows this summer, saying the "feud is patched over enough" for it to happen.

B) They then talk about VR entering the studio to work on their new album, and working with Pharell.

C) They say Pharell is also going to work with Weiland on Weiland's new solo album.

C is news to me... the rest is all shit we've heard before I guess. But these rumors refuse to die. And why is Weiland working on a new solo album when VR is supposed to record?

Good observation, another thing is anyone remember when slash was coming close to quitting gnr, and they asked him if rumours were true he said "as far as i know, im still in the band" Well that kind of shows a hint of secresy... slash knows there problems in VR. and so does the rest of the group. i believe this is why there hasnt been much axl bashing after braid-boy opened his mouth.

My point being Slash has said those same words before and they meant something.. i think VR wont last very long.
