It's not sold-out. To tell you the truth, I expected the show to sell much faster, to be sold-out in a couple of hours, but it's not the case. There is (still) absolutely no promotion in France about this gig, and about the band in general. Merck should wake-up, we need promotion here. It will be sold-out, but not today, not even tomorow. U2 sold 160.000 tickets (2 X 80.000 tickets at Stade De France) within 1H30 in July...

Whine-whine-whine.

It's not a whine it's a fact.

You can whine and state facts at the same time.

All Nesquick (and many other fans do) is whine about shit.

If you have something to tell me use PM. In the meantime, shut the fuck up. You don't live in France, I live, so i know what's going on in my own country. When I say there is no promotion here about GN'R, it's not a whine, it's a fact. The biggest promotion is done by GNRFrance and by Will, it's done by the fans, not by Sanctuary, the management or whatever. I'm still pretty surprised by how low the promotion is coming from people who are supposed to be "professionals of Marketing" in their office in NYC... 'cause I see nothing here....For exemple, Iron Maiden is all over the place here for their show at Bercy arena next November, while there has been nothing about the GN'R show at the same place next.... june. I just find it weird.

Anyway, i think it will be sold out by the time the gig happens, but it's not a "GNR mania" for sure. It's very quiet.

Most of people aren't even aware GNR will play at Bercy arena simply because they don't necessary surf on GNR webstites. Most of people don't even know GNR will play in France. People just don't know it. If there had been more promotion, I'm sure it would have been already sold-out.

Aren't you happy that people don't know about it, yet it's almost sold out?

Imagine what would have happened if people knew about it...

In all fairness, I think we all did pretty good, considering there has been no promotion at all basically. I didn't expect the ticketing system to be down within 20 minutes...lol

well, it's not "almost" sold out. I believed like everybody it was at 10.30 am this morning, but it sems the more the time pasts, the more there are still tickets available tonight (wich is pretty weird). There are still tikets on "carr? or", cat 1 and cat 2. None of them are sold-out. I don't know the figures, but it seems there are still lots of tikets available . It's a unique show in France, in Paris, one of the biggest city in Europe and in the world, it's not a small place in the world. Ok Bercy is pretty big, but it's 15/17.000 seats, not 80.000.

Yeah, but what's weird is that you people are acting like GN'R has been as active for the past 10 years as U2.

Reality Check: GN'R haven't released a new record in 13 years. Most people think they've died or don't exist anymore as a band.

So, if you ask me, 12.000 or 10.000 tickets in one day, is more than a lot...

Limiting promotion, also enables the die hard fans to get tickets!  Once the buzz hit's after the festivals, if there are a few thousand tickets left, they will be snatched up!  Also, letting the buzz grow from the ground up, will make it more real, and thus long lasting!!

I understand what you're saying and I dont think it's a whine.

Maybe the tour promotion is waiting on the album release.   The promotion will be much stronger that way.

So we all just keep our fingers crossed for the big news...

The only printed promotion I've heard of is a small article in Liberation (big daily newspaper) and 20 minutes (given for free on the subway, huge circulation). It's better than nothing, but yeah, I guess it could be better.

If I PM you, then I'll just be rude and I don't want to have to do that.

So, let's just leave it at that.
