There isn't even a band playing this style of rock music today.

This album could make hard rock more mainstream, which would be great.

"15 year old type bands"

That would be Skid Row. They never could hold a candel to Guns before, and I doubt their half-assed version can hold a candel to our half-assed version of GN'R.

sebastian didn't write in skid row (only a couple of lines on the lyrics), it was all snake and rachel.
check out sebastian's solo career and you'll understand that he can't come up with something reasonable.

These songs won't break the top 10. Thats a garuntee.
When was the last time a hard rock/metal song went number 1? Early 90's?

So, Popularity wise there are alot of "Songs" (If you could call the crap they play on the radio these days that) that could beat Chinese Democracy tunes. Quality wise? The only way I can see someone release better music is if either some other kick ass band got back toghether or Slash and Co. get there shit together and play up to what they are capable of (we're talking 3/5 of Guns N' Fucking Roses here).

Funny how there's more GN'R in Velvet Revolver then there is in Guns N' Roses.
