We need rules and transparency for moderators of the Jungle

Actually, the thread existed for a while, and then was arbitrarily locked.
The observant person would realize? that a pattern of behavior emerges from certain mods, and it is not healthy or conducive to running a website that is to be a forum for discussion and give and take.

Yeah.. umm. First of all. We tend to think that descriptive subjects are cool. Like if you wanna talk about my gender, you might wanna name the thread "Skeba's Gender" and not "What I've been wondering is...". It helps. People don't have to go through every thread to see if they're intrested in a topic. Second. Your thread's question was that you can't remember what you've posted when you've been drunk. The answer was given to you by Hillel Slovak: just go look at your last posts in your profile.. What more could you have gotten from it? You could start a "dumbest thing you've posted when drunk" thread, but I really don't see how the original thread could've evolved into something amazing and insightful? If the thread was supposed to be about "what do you really hate", you could've been a lot more descriptive about the idea of the thread. Right now it seemed like you posted a random thought that swung to your head.

ps. this was too, posted in the wrong section. The Adminstrative section has the description: "Announcements, your questions about the board, suggestions etc. Got a problem with the board? Post here."

I agree this thread should be about fun, but with some kind of limit. I just suppose the moderator's opinion of a limit is different to yours.

And how is a thread  about "I hate it when.." offensive  or beyond limits?  A person could talk about anything that affects  their life. Look at the various threads: masturbation, porn, flirting, movies, the list is endless. And I start a harmless thread  about what grips you in life, and it gets locked? I mean, really, does that make sense? So I asked for a clarification and a statment  of the criteria used to decide  whether to lock  a thread in the Jungle. Seems perfectly reasonable to me, so as not to offend the Gods or go beyond any kind  of limits (which apparently are only in the minds of certain mods).

1. The picture? looks? like me, they all do.
2. No, the thread was about "I hate it when.." and was an open question to anyone with a creative mind? or something interesting to say. You read it the wrong way.
3. Not in the wrong section since this is the section that caused the problem. After all, I got your attention, so it  obviously was in  the right place.

Something really needs to be done about this. Forget Apartheid, forget starving/dying people in 3rd world nations, forget about Aids. Bono needs to do a benefit concert to raise the worlds awareness about the injustices that happen on this board.
