Mr. Intensity said the demos were from The Crazy Horse Too in '03. Not that they were from a '03 recording session.

Axl played these songs for people in '03.

Although possible, I find it implausible. The Trunk CD was out there floating around. It had at least 3 songs with vocals on it. Not surprising, we had three tracks leak out followed by a fourth which seemed to be from a different period of time and state of completion.

Probably old.
But that raises the question of why no leaks  from Axl's visit to NYC have appeared. Did they have security? Judging from the clothing of the girls at the club, I guess there were not too many places where a mike  might be kept that could record with any semblance of fidelity.  hihi
