music is what people want to here. and until he gives a real confurmation that the CD is coming out i wouldnt expect it. but who knows its GNR. anything can happen. could be out tommarow. and we wouldnt know about it. there could be a reunion coming and we wouldnt know about it. even if the media says its not going to happen. its Axl. he love's knowing we dont know. and he wants to keep it that way.

Just a thought.. If Axl is really the one releasing these demos(hence saying music will be heard this year), do you think that he'd actually release the best stuff first? If he did leak the songs, wouldn't he save the best for last or best to be heard on the album instead of giving away the best of the best on the internet? I don't think he'd allow his prized songs to be leaked if he had control.

Exactly what I thought. I think they'll be on the album, but I agree they're on the bottom of the list. People keep saying these are great songs, but I see much better stuff for the album that hasn't been released, and if not, they're still great songs. hihi

Axl has talked alot of shit about this album. The unfolding of this album has been a soap opera...that's part of the allure for me, and many others. It really is a fantatic story, much like Brian Wilson's SMiLE which turned out to be a beautiful album(albeit, not worth waiting almost 40 years for). Regardless, we have heard music this year and these demos are fantastic, especially the jams into the outros. Fantastic guitar work by Bucket...too bad his service won't be retained. Although, I believe the shred guitar work is a bit over the top for the average classic rock fan and it will prove to be best for Guns if he is removed. I have to say I love it though...Thanks for the new music Axl. By the way, the "music" comment could have been refering to the festival dates recently revealed. My guess is no album until q3 or q4 of this year, but I will forecast some of these leaked songs will be played on the coming tour dates.

If you're not a rock star - at least act like one

That would be a nice little shock. A Best Of (not greatest hits) album with songs picked by Axl with 3-5 new songs.

Hm, I would call that improbable, but this is GNR. Throughout I have had the feeling that these leaks were intentional. In the articles it said that Axl had people listening to CD, not demos, but somehow demos are leaked, not the studio versions for CD. Leaking those demos would only wet people's appetite and they would be more inclined to buy the real deal when it comes out. Just my 2 cents, but what do I know  Huh We're all in the dark together
