I wouldn't rule out someone like Gary Sunshine or Eric Cadieux touring with them as a guitarist.

If not, I wouldn't be surprised to see Pittman sampling Bucket's solos live. He's gotta do something when they play live surely?  hihi

Isn't Gary Sunshine operating an adult video store in Florida now? Seems like a drastic career change. Axl could run around the country in a used police vehicle with his brother Stuart and try to reform his band.

I find that i'm far more powerful and effective when i can celebrate another's way, rather than to wish to own it.

Did you guys see Slash at the Michael Jackson concert in '01? Slash played a lot of MJ songs, one of which is "Beat it." The solo in "Beat it" is of course, performed by Eddie Van Halen on the "Thriller" album. Slash knew enough not to try to attempt that solo, as it isn't his style and he isn't as proficient as EVH. So, for the "Beat it" solo, he did his own thing, and it sounded good. When GN'R play these new songs, unless they get another guitar whiz for the tour, Robin and Fortus should just try to work with what skills they have, and improvise.

He was in porn but he's back in music again. He's still in touch with Axl too allegedly.

If they start sampling guitar parts, Richard would feel right at home...... It wouldn't be any different than touring with N'Sync. Maybe Axl can start running around lip synching to pre recorded vocal tracks (Ashlee Simpson Style).

Unless the guitar parts get much more complicated in the songs we haven't heard yet, they could get any kid in his second year at Berklee in Boston to replicate those solo's (if you give him a tricked out guitar with a kill switch). They sound great, but I haven't heard anything earth shattering yet.

I think it has been confirmed that Slash is so far out of the GnR piture that it is never going to happen.
If Slash were to show for Rio, then he'd be there for all the up coming shows, and if Slash was there for all up coming GnR shows then V.R. is over with. I cannot see Slash dumping V.R. just like that.

Confirmed by who..?

Slash seems to me like he's itching to get onstage and play a set of GNR tunes...
