What do you guys think about estonia? Have you even heard of it? Can you locate it on a map. It would be interesting to know what you know/think. Oh and is there any other estonians on this board?

Just cross the "sea" from here and you'll be in Estonia yes I live in southern Finland, but I havent visited Tallinn.. strange? Everyone goes there just to get cheap beer hihi

Btw tell me Rocksteady, is Maiasmokk the restaurant still open? I used to love that place, but the last two times I've been to Tallinn only the confectionery downstairs was open.

Sorry I don't know for sure cos I don't live in Tallinn. But it seems to be open. Here's it's website http://www.maiasmokk.ee/reserveerimine_ee.htm It says it's open every day from noon till 23:00.

I?ve been many times in Tallinn and once in Tartu.

I liked Tartu very much. Beautiful city with lots and lots of young people everywhere, as it is a university town (actually I was there because our study trip to University of Tartu).. and very central european indeed.
I'm really waiting for a chance to come back there..
