Just my two cents:

I'm absolutely sure that CD will be released within a few months, maybe in a few weeks already. It is totally clea that they can't fail again. They would not announce shows if CD were not on the way, not the smallest doubt about that.

I guess we will have a release date by the end of the week or maybe next week at the latest, as well as more tour dates. I think they won't take anymore risk and either release CD next month along with a few surprise shows or around RIR. And then tour behind it. Starting a tour in Europe is just logical. In the US, they blew it last time. Promoters are pissed, fans are pissed, and GNR are pissed (due to the very small audiences in most US-venues in 2002). GNR are bigger in Europe than they are in the US: At least in Germany they could sell out arenas in an instace, and I live in Cologne, so I know what I'm talking about.

I'd say build it up with festivals, then a EU-headliner tour, along with all the tv stuff, then head over to the US, or maybe Asia first.

One thing is pretty sure. If they mess it up this time, it is over. But I have faith.

well with all the activity and rumors i would say yeah, sure it'll be out

but from past history....I will have to believe it when it's in my hands

Didnt Slash say a new RECORD in March? That doesnt necessarily mean the album!!! Single maybe, but album - doubt it.
